Nam Khounnasenh, 64, of Mt. Pleasant passed away on Friday, March 24, 2023, at the Henry County Health Center, emergency room in Mt. Pleasant.

Nam was born in Vientiane Laos November 1, 1958, to Thit Toune and Seng Khounnasenh. He moved to the United States in 1979. Nam loved riding motorcycles and fixing cars. He was an outdoorsman enjoyed fishing with his friends.

He is survived by his children, Amanda (DeSpain) Malott, of Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, Kayla Khounnasenh, of Fairfield, Iowa, his son, Randy Khounnasenh, of Seattle, Washington, his grandchildren, Taylee Phanthouvong, Anikia Emory, Hannah Malott, Ethan Malott, Treven Prospere, Azaliyah Prospere, King Prospere, Niyah Prospere, Aiden Novak and Connor Novak,his sisters, Khampoune Khounnasenh, from Iowa and Kham Khounnasenh in Arkansas, along with five sisters in Vientiane Laos.

He is preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers and 1 sister.

According to his wishes cremation has been entrusted to the care of Murphy Funeral Home of Mt. Pleasant. No services will be held.
